Consultancy: Our Consultants always spend time with new
Clients, advising on the
best approach to implementing the Activ System within their organisation:
their software requirements, Test Centre set-up, BCS/ECDL-F
regulations and guidelines, and the accreditation and
audit process. We can also assist with the completion of
their BCS
accreditation forms. We have experienced and qualified Test Centre Managers on our staff who can advise on all stages of the registration and accreditation process.
Online
Installation of Software: The Activ software is easy and quick to install, even across large numbers of testing and administration PCs. Our online guides are
supported by a Technical Helpdesk that makes contact with
every new Client upon delivery of our software. Our Support Helpdesk
personnel then guide the Client's IT staff through the installation
of the software, with each site taking as little as an
hour to be fully up and running. It is this model that allows
us to offer distributed and satellite Test Centre models
with such ease.
Test
Centre Staff Training: Managed Support also includes
training for Test Centre Managers and Invigilators. This
training covers the operation of the software as well as
a thorough introduction to the roles within the Test Centre.
The Training is supported by comprehensive user manuals.
Bespoke
System Configuration: From the outset, our Technical Consultants
will discuss the organisational structure and reporting needs of the Client
organisation, and will tailor the configuration of the
ActivTest Administration Client so that the system configuration and reports generated
by the system meet those needs. In addition, we recommend
specific data structures that help to promote good housekeeping
of student records and results data.
Transfer
from Other Suppliers/Large Initial Candidate Input: Whether
from another supplier’s
data records or from an existing student records/human
resources system,
the ActivTest software can easily import large amounts of Candidate
data onto the Administration System using a specially
developed importing tool. This saves our Clients huge amounts
of time in data input.
